Are you a business owner, social media maven, or blogger looking to begin blogging or expand your presence in social media? Would you like to increase the reach of your information? Maybe you already have a blog and yet traffic is still missing… Does the idea of helping others succeed at the same time strike you as an excellent perk? Would you be interested in achieving all of this, while helping others do the same, in a win/win situation, if it did not mean you have to buy anything from us or join any of our businesses if you didn’t wish to? Does a win/win perk your interest? If so, keep reading!
I’m Kimberly Castleberry and I’m passionate about creating win/win environments that allow businesses to grow in a team setting. I believe that both teamwork and healthy team rivalry help us stretch our minds and our hearts, yielding growth for all participants. I have a background in running a large organization with tribal structure ( If you haven’t read Seth Godin’s book “Tribes”, I highly recommend it as well as the more implementation based “Tribal Leadership”.) where all members have an active role in the organization. I was yearning for a way to bring that win/win environment into the social media model that so many of us enjoy!
Recently I was introduced to a technique that’s being called “Tribal Syndication”. Syndication Alliances, aka Tribe Syndication teams, have a number of forms but the concept remains the same. The more I learned about the group structure that was required to make this work, the more I grew increasingly ecstatic, because this was exactly what I was looking for!
Once I ran some numbers I became very excited about the ability to drive traffic in a win-win way that doesn’t outright require any of us to get in the others existing business if we do not wish. How often are we told we can get rich if we’ll only join so and so’s business? Not here! This has been a serious “ah-hah” moment for me when I realized this was the piece I’d been missing! This gives us the tools to take my previously developed skill set and apply it to helping a wide range of people in social media and personal development learn to help each other! Since I specialize in helping small and home businesses get started with social media and internet marketing and love helping them achieve early success, this was right up my alley! Can you tell I’m excited?!?!
The real brief version is that you form a small “tribe” (collective/group) of people with related interests … and that pocket of people who usually quickly become friends … agrees to help syndicate the others content on all social media they use, as well as cross-post on each others blogs. Skype is used for a weekly syndication call that improves team bonding and creates a mastermind effect. With the use of a few unique plugins, this creates backlinks and social media links, and is a “natural” SEO method that drives numbers. This is not link farming or other black hat techniques it is simply using organic networking to expand the scope and reach of each team member. In defense of relationship building however, it should be noted that exceeding 10% in “money posts” will be frowned upon. High content ratio is desirable. Remember the 9:1 (nine to one) rule, where money posts should never exceed one to nine value posts. It does require that the members play as good sports though, and even if competing, still post and repost the others links as well. There has to be a commitment to the team! Everyone has to win or it fails. For more on the benefits of a mastermind team and the commitment from you that it takes to make it work, be sure to check out the legendary “Think & Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill (Available here as a free zipped pdf download).
We are actively forming groups, think of them as knitting circles, LOL… of people that are willing to work together to help the others have success, and in turn get some “free” promotion, and drive their blog/SM (social media). I put free in quotes because while there is no financial obligation, there is certainly an obligation of your time and commitment to attend, support, educate yourself, participate, produce content, build your network, build your foundation skills and do the work involved. This commitment is critical! This group is evolving naturally and presents a learning opportunity for everyone. For me however, this is a test-bed for using this information to grow a massive organization. I want to take what we learn here, and scale it up, to benefit as many people as possible.
Group spots are going fast… and we are actively recruiting for both participants and team leads for the once a week syndication session (to be held on Skype, which is free) for us to utilize. This “pow-wow” session is critical as it’s not only our syndication time but also our time to build friendships and strengthen bonds in the team. Anyone needing new blogs set up, or help moving to a hosted WordPress blog (and off of a free blog, which gets SEO penalized and generally can not legally be used for business), I will be working with to help through that process between now and then. Don’t have a blog yet? You have plenty of time to get one launched and be ready for action!
